A Golden Age design for browsing records, hosting hi-fi equipment, and creating the natural center of a listening space.
Curtis is part of Groovaly’s Golden Age Designs: a family of sculptural pieces inspired by the warmth, curves, and listening culture of the 1970s.
Designed around the ritual of choosing a record, Curtis brings together Groovaly’s key browsing elements in a generous horizontal composition. It is not conceived as simple storage, but as a central structure for a listening space — a place where records, equipment, objects, and shared moments naturally come together.
Many vinyl collections disappear into tight shelves or closed storage. Curtis brings them back into view. Its browsing mechanisms let you move through your collection with ease, recognize each album at a glance, and rediscover records that might otherwise stay hidden.
At the base, Tilt keeps a generous LP selection visible and easy to explore. Records rest on a recessed base at the back of the module, creating the visual impression that they are lightly suspended. Press the top edge of a sleeve, and the records tilt gently forward, letting you view the cover without removing it from the furniture.
At the center, Bloom brings Groovaly’s signature browsing gesture into the composition. The drawer opens into a fan-like arrangement, allowing you to flip through your records like the pages of a book and recognize each album at a glance. The Bloom drawer features Groovaly’s patented browsing mechanism — FR2504530.
Alongside it, Chest adds dedicated storage for 7-inch vinyl records, hi-fi accessories, personal items, or everyday objects, while its upper shelf creates space for compact equipment or display.
Grid extends the listening ritual into moments of hospitality, keeping bottles or everyday objects close at hand. Above, Nest creates a raised platform for a turntable, completing the composition as a true listening centerpiece.
Crafted from Valchromat with rounded forms and a carefully finished surface, Curtis carries the distinctive character of the Golden Age Designs: soft geometry, tactile materiality, and a warm architectural presence.

Curtis unfolds as a three-level horizontal composition:
Base level — Grid + Tilt

Nine compartments for bottles or everyday objects.
Tilt
Wide leaning browsing module for approximately 180 LP records. Records rest on a recessed base at the back of the module and tilt forward when pressed, making album covers easier to view without removing them from the module.
Middle level — Chest + Bloom
Chest
Wide drawer with three internal compartments proportioned for 7-inch vinyl records, holding approximately 300 singles. Chest can also be used for hi-fi accessories, personal items, or everyday storage. The upper shelf is suited for compact equipment or display.
Bloom
Signature fan-drawer for approximately 50 LP records. The Bloom drawer features Groovaly’s patented browsing mechanism — FR2504530.
Top level — Nest
Nest
Raised platform designed to host a turntable.
Together, these elements create a balanced composition combining LP browsing, 7-inch storage, compact hi-fi use, display, and shared moments.
Material & Craft
Curtis is designed in Paris and crafted in France and Portugal from Valchromat, a high-density wood-fibre material coloured throughout with organic pigments.
Unlike a simple surface finish, Valchromat carries its colour through the material itself. Its dense structure, velvety texture, and mineral matte appearance give Curtis a quiet depth and a refined tactile presence.
As part of the Golden Age Designs, Curtis is defined by rounded forms, sculptural volumes, and carefully finished edges. Each piece combines CNC precision, careful assembly, and a varnished finish designed to protect the surface while preserving the material’s soft, matte character.
Minor variations in tone, texture, or finish may occur due to the nature of the material and small-batch production. These variations are part of the character of the piece.

Curtis launches in White Pearl.
Additional finishes may be introduced progressively.
Delivery & Availability
Curtis is delivered as carefully protected, fully assembled elements.
The Bloom fan system is assembled at home using the included components and instructions.
For additional safety, wall fixing is recommended for this multi-level composition. The wall-mounting method is explained in the assembly instructions. Wall brackets, screws, and plugs are not included, as the appropriate fixing hardware depends on your wall type.
