Wilson is part of Groovaly’s Golden Age Designs: a family of sculptural pieces inspired by the warmth, curves, and listening culture of the 1970s.

Designed as a home DJ booth for vinyl lovers, Wilson brings together Groovaly’s key storage and browsing elements in a generous horizontal composition. It creates a dedicated place for records, turntables, compact equipment, objects, and shared listening moments — without turning the room into a technical setup.

Instead of hiding records in tight shelves or closed storage, Wilson brings the collection into the space. LPs remain visible, accessible, and easy to browse, while the upper platforms create a natural surface for two turntables and a mixer.

At the base, Tilt keeps a generous LP selection visible and easy to explore. Records rest on a recessed base at the back of the module, creating the visual impression that they are lightly suspended. Press the top edge of a sleeve, and the records tilt gently forward, letting you view the cover without removing it from the furniture.

At the center, Chest adds dedicated storage for 7-inch vinyl records, hi-fi accessories, personal items, or everyday objects. Its lower drawer includes three internal compartments proportioned for singles, while the upper shelf can host compact equipment, books, baskets, or display pieces.

Alongside it, Bloom brings Groovaly’s signature browsing gesture into the composition. The drawer opens into a fan-like arrangement, allowing you to flip through your records like the pages of a book and recognize each album at a glance. The Bloom drawer features Groovaly’s patented browsing mechanism — FR2504530.

Cub, Split, and Grid complete the composition with open storage, display, and hospitality. Cub can hold LP records, books, or objects. Split offers two open compartments for books, storage baskets, compact equipment, or decorative pieces. Grid adds nine compartments for bottles or everyday objects, extending the listening ritual into music, conversation, and shared time.

Base level

Tilt
Wide leaning browsing module for approximately 180 LP records. Records rest on a recessed base at the back of the module and tilt forward when pressed, making album covers easier to view without removing them from the module.

Grid
Nine compartments for bottles, everyday objects, or decorative pieces.

Cub
Open storage module for approximately 100 LP records, books, storage baskets, or decorative objects.

Middle level

Split
Two open compartments for books, storage baskets, compact equipment, or decorative pieces.

Chest
Drawer-based storage element with three internal compartments proportioned for 7-inch vinyl records, holding approximately 300 singles. Chest can also be used for hi-fi accessories, personal items, or everyday storage. The upper shelf is suited for books, baskets, compact equipment, or decorative objects.

Material & Craft

Wilson is designed in Paris and crafted in France and Portugal from Valchromat, a high-density wood-fibre material coloured throughout with organic pigments.

Unlike a simple surface finish, Valchromat carries its colour through the material itself. Its dense structure, velvety texture, and mineral matte appearance give Wilson a quiet depth and a refined tactile presence.

As part of the Golden Age Designs, Wilson is defined by rounded forms, sculptural volumes, and carefully finished edges. Each piece combines CNC precision, careful assembly, and a varnished finish designed to protect the surface while preserving the material’s soft, matte character.

Minor variations in tone, texture, or finish may occur due to the nature of the material and small-batch production. These variations are part of the character of the piece.

Delivery & Availability

Wilson is delivered as carefully protected, fully assembled elements.

The Bloom fan system is assembled at home using the included components and instructions.

For additional safety, wall fixing is recommended for this multi-level composition. The wall-mounting method is explained in the assembly instructions. Wall brackets, screws, and plugs are not included, as the appropriate fixing hardware depends on your wall type.
