Lou is part of the Groovaly Golden Age Collection: a family of sculptural pieces inspired by the warmth, curves and listening culture of the 1970s.

Tall, narrow and expressive, Lou brings together four Groovaly elements in a vertical composition: Grid, Split, Bloom and Cub. Designed as a sculptural vinyl totem, it creates a strong presence while keeping a compact footprint.

Instead of hiding records in tight shelves or closed storage, Lou brings them into view. Its vertical structure gives the collection a visible role in the room, while surrounding compartments create space for objects, books, bottles and everyday listening essentials.

At the base, Grid adds nine compartments for bottles, small objects or decorative pieces, connecting music, conversation and everyday use.

Above it, Split adds two open compartments for books, storage baskets, compact objects or decorative pieces, keeping everyday items visible without closing them away.

At the centre, Bloom brings Groovaly’s signature browsing gesture into the composition. The drawer opens into a fan-shaped arrangement, allowing you to flip through around 50 LPs like the pages of a book and recognise each album at a glance.

At the top, Cub completes the vertical structure with a simple open volume for LP records, books, storage boxes or decorative objects. Its quiet geometry gives Lou balance and height, turning storage into a sculptural presence.

Together, Grid, Split, Bloom and Cub make Lou a vertical collector’s piece: a place to browse records, display objects, keep bottles within reach and give music a visible place in everyday living.

Crafted from White Pearl Valchromat with rounded forms and a protective matte finish, Lou carries the distinctive character of the Golden Age Collection: soft geometry, tactile materiality and a warm sculptural presence.

Lou unfolds as a four-level vertical composition:

Base level — Grid
Nine compartments for bottles, everyday objects or decorative pieces.

Second level — Split
Two open compartments for books, storage baskets, compact objects or decorative pieces.

Third level — Bloom
Signature fan-drawer for approximately 50 LP records. The Bloom drawer features Groovaly’s patented browsing mechanism — FR2504530.

Top level — Cub
Open storage module for approximately 100 LP records, books, storage boxes or decorative objects.

Together, these elements create a vertical composition combining record browsing, open storage, display and shared listening moments.

Material & Craft

Lou is designed in Paris, France, and crafted in France and Portugal from White Pearl Valchromat, a high-density wood-fibre material coloured throughout with organic pigments.

Unlike a simple surface finish, Valchromat carries its colour through the material itself. Its dense structure, velvety texture and mineral matte appearance give Lou a quiet depth and a refined tactile presence.

As part of the Golden Age Collection, Lou is defined by rounded forms, sculptural volumes and carefully finished edges. Each piece combines CNC precision, careful assembly and a protective matte finish designed to preserve the material’s soft character while making the surface more resistant to everyday use.

Minor variations in tone, texture or finish may occur due to the nature of the material and small-batch production. These variations are part of the character of the piece.

Finish Options

Lou launches in White Pearl.

Additional finishes may be introduced progressively.

Delivery & Availability

Lou is delivered as carefully protected, fully assembled elements.

The Bloom fan system is assembled at home using the included components and instructions.

For safety, Lou must be secured to the wall after assembly. The wall-fixing method is explained in the assembly instructions.

Wall brackets, screws and plugs are not included, as the appropriate fixing hardware depends on your wall type.

We deliver within approximately 4–12 weeks, depending on destination and availability.
